About Aaron....  

Aaron Benitez, RDHAP  practices serves the Homebound, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living and Board/Care in Southern California.

In 2000, Aaron graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist from West Los Angeles College and went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular & Cell Biology from California State University, Northridge (CSUN).

Aaron achieved a post-graduate certificate in
Oral Health for People with Special needs from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco (UOP). This post-grad certificate has allowed Aaron to become licensed in California as an Independent Hygienist, also known as a, "Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice" (RDHAP).
In February 2005, Aaron collaborated and co-authored with a Lab Research Study that was published in the Journal of Periodontology. Also, participating in the advancement of Dental Hygiene, Aaron served as the Pre-Dental Society President in 2003 at Cal-State Northridge and as President of the West Los Angeles College Dental Hygiene Alumni Association. He has written several newspaper articles in spanish speaking countries about Oral Health and Dental Hygiene topics.

Aaron mainly treats Medically Complex Patients that are Homebound and at Nursing Homes. Also, during summers he is a Clinic Lecturer once a week at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry (UCLA), section of Periodontics.
