I work in conjunction with Administrators, Social Workers & the facility's Dentist to bring an excellent standard of care in Dental Hygiene to our resident-patients. I also service a large amount of Homebound patients.
We do not replace facilities' existing dentists.
I provide easy to read, "Dental Hygiene Notes" for every resident's chart that was treated. Also, a list of residents seen and services provided are given to Social Workers by our Dental Hygienist. Copies of dental referrals are given to resident's dentist.
