What is an RDHAP:

Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP) is a member of the Dental Team that has passed a state approved post graduate exam and is able to practice Dental Hygiene without the supervision of a dentist. Designed to serve the under-served population in California, the RDHAP is trained to treat medically compromised patients that would otherwise have a difficult time finding a dentist that does house calls.
